C. Larry Hofmeister, Jr.

Mr. Hofmeister has been practicing law as a creditors’ rights attorney for over thirty years. He holds an AV Martindale-Hubbell rating with a “Preeminent” peer review designation. His practice is concentrated in the area of creditors’ rights and is focused on loan workouts and restructures, commercial/residential foreclosures, bankruptcy, and related litigation. Mr. Hofmeister represents community, regional and national financial institutions with regard to their loan default needs. He has obtained favorable results for clients in commercial/consumer loan workouts and restructures, re-documentation of troubled loans, foreclosures and secured creditor sales, as well as matters involving relief from the automatic stay, use of cash collateral, plan confirmation and claim objections. Scott M. Breza

Mr. Breza is well known for his expertise in all phases of business and real estate transactions, including title and finance. He routinely handles commercial transactions, commercial workout, land use and zoning, finance, construction contracts, construction litigation, corporate transfers and mergers, governmental taking issues, and commercial lease negotiation and drafting. He serves as counsel to businesses of various sizes, commercial and residential developers, investors, builders, as well as several regional and local banks. Mr. Breza has handled litigation matters in many jurisdictions throughout the State of Maryland, the District of Columbia and in the federal courts.

Mr. Breza is appointed as a title agent for First American Title Insurance Company as well as Fidelity National Insurance Company (through Chicago Title Insurance Company). He is licensed to practice law in the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia, and is a licensed title agent in the State of Maryland, the State of Virginia, the State of Florida, and the District of Columbia.

Rachael D. Breza

Mrs. Breza’s practice areas include real estate transactions, land use and zoning, and development representation. Mrs. Breza handles development matters throughout the State of Maryland. She is well respected for her knowledge in all aspects of municipal codes as they relate to real estate matters. As part of her practice, Mrs. Breza routinely negotiates and prepares lender documents, property transfer agreements and quiet title actions. Mrs. Breza is licensed to practice law in the State of Maryland.

Mrs. Breza has overseen large scale development projects, addressing local, state and national permitting issues, as well as negotiating all aspects of the development approval process from zoning density allocation issues to effluent discharge permits for golf course irrigation projects. She has negotiated with national development groups and home builders. She has also worked with municipal entities, rewriting their zoning codes.

Scott R. Robinson

Mr. Robinson works in the firm’s Litigation and Bankruptcy Department, and has had extensive experience in debtor/creditor rights cases, collections, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and real estate litigation. He is eligible to practice in all state and federal courts in Maryland, the U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts in the District of Columbia, and in the federal Fourth Circuit and Supreme Courts of the United States.

Mr. Robinson brings a balance perspective and approach to cases, as he has represented individual and business debtors, creditors and trustees in bankruptcy and state court litigation over more than twenty-five years. He has presented at lectures and seminars for the Maryland State Bar Association Consumer Bankruptcy Section, and has previously edited sections of the Maryland Practice Manual for MICPEL.

Robert Glushakow

Robert S. Glushakow is of counsel at the law firm of Hofmeister & Breza where he practices in the areas of banking law, commercial transactions, real estate law, creditor’s rights law and bankruptcy law. Mr. Glushakow is a past lecturer for National Business Institute and has lectured on real estate title issues, survey issues, foreclosures, and transaction closings with entities. He has also lectured before business and professional groups, and he is a past faculty member of the Maryland State Bar Association Professionalism Course. He received his B.S. degree from Towson State University and his J.D. degree from the University of Baltimore. Mr. Glushakow is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, Inc., the Baltimore County Bar Association and the American College of Mortgage Attorneys. Andrew Winick

Mr. Winick, an experienced litigator and underwriting attorney, has been licensed since 1996 to practice law by the State of New Jersey and, thereafter, by the States of New York and Maryland in 1997 and the District of Columbia in 2000.

Throughout his career, Mr. Winick has worked in mid-size and small law firms, concentrating his practice on general litigation, commercial and corporate transactions. As a natural progression of his clientele’s needs, Mr. Winick established a small and successful settlement company in 2003, handling residential and commercial transactions throughout Maryland, Washington D.C. and the Commonwealth of Virginia. During the next ten-years, Mr. Winick began focusing his work on all phases of real estate transactions, including title and finance.
